The best thing to do if you want to roam around at their Brooklyn Headquarters is just type into the Google Maps
search box 25 Vine St. Brooklyn New York.
Notice all the 4 door sedans on the street and about ........funny

If your not aware as of yet Google Maps has a interesting program put into their software now where you can visually see the location
or address that your searching for. Once you've come to the address that you've searched for, most city locations
have a Streetview where clicking on the Streetview link is located.
Once your down to Streetview you can double clink further down the road to move about and turn 360 degrees,
even zoom in on to buildings like you were standing on the sidewalk.
I was roaming around at the WTS headquarters in Brooklyn this morning and the surrounding buildings and found it very interesting.
If there is anyone in doubt of the WTS wealth take them directly to the site and have them look around a bit.

Efficient video editing usually requires a strong and fast CPU and a large amount of RAM.
its for this very reason most video editing is done on desktops PC or MACS, if your not going to edit HD,
there are some new Laptops that have reasonably fast quad core processors and large amounts of video RAM
that might do the trick. Sony have recently put out some laptops that have Bluray disk capabilities, hence
they might also have good hardware for video editing. They are in the $1,200 range, HP has something similar
thats also worthy checking out.

my older sister.. well we agreed with the consensus on here that it was best to accept with gratitude and this we have done, but i would just like to reproduce what she wrote in the card accompanying the present and flowers.. after the happy anniversary she wrote :.

I think its worthy of a reply, since they're insensitive enough to bring up your disappearing lack of support
of the WT corporation, I'd say making an effort to be honest to why your thankfully not involved with that
and that hoping they too can see the light of what they are involved in.
They are throwing dirt on you as to guilt you when the opposite should really happen ,
in other words throw it back and make it hurt so they awaken. If you don't do this
they will perceive that you are guilt ridden and it will only confirm within themselves they
are in the truth. It wont hurt them, rather it might spark them to reflect who and what they are doing.
Mind you there are good ways to do this and there not so good, be sincere but most important be honest.

by AllTimeJeff injehovah's witnessses, (and esp their leadership, the governing body) are guilty of so many things, that one has to be careful of the tabloid rumors swirling around them.. it's probably helpful to review first of all what jw's are guilty of.
they are absolutely guilty in their efforts to control active members under the dictates of the conscience of the gb.
every other watchtower article usually has big time references to how we shouldn't be like those self righteous pharisees in jesus day for all the rules, followed by another article next describing what one can (could) or can't (shouldn't) watch on tv, wear for clothing or hairstyles, etc.

Good write up Jeff, evaluating this publishing corporation in practical terms, not in non-sensual way as some do .
I'm glad you mentioned the supposed subliminal art aspirations that the WTS artists some say are capable of.
Noting that the WTS artists are not professional or intellectual enough to carry that through.
I get frustrated as well when people in a effort to expose the corruption of the WTS come up with out landishly stupid
accusations about what the WTS has done, making themselves look more idiotic if anything.
Personally to me the false dogmas of the WTS is rooted in the fact that the WTS. is a publishing house,
its always been in the corporation's interests to write up ideas extrapolated of course from the bible to
catch the publics attention, captivating people into submissive fear and then manipulating them for profit $
The game is power and money, thankfully the inter-net is here now and people are starting to awaken to this fact.

Ex-JWs, How Many People Have Left the WTBTS Due To Your Efforts?
by ziddina inand, while we're at it, what did you feel was the best technique/were the best techniques for 'awakening' jws to the problems/threats within the wtbts??.
i was initially awakened by the realization that the bible writers had no clue about how the earth really worked - which meant that their god had no clue, either.
when exodus 19: 16-19 was read in the kh, i realized (as a young child, 7 or 8 if i remember correctly...) that those bible verses were describing a volcanic eruption - and the isra-el-ites - and their 'god' - were totally clueless as to the true nature of that eruption and mountain.... that was my first eye-opener... then there was the fellow - a householder - who said to me when i was a cute kid at the door helping 'spread the word', "those people are using you!".

I left in the early 80's on my own instinct of corruption and coercion played out by the WTS.
The connection with a money making publishing house and god always disturbed me somewhat and I knew
what they were proselytizing to the public could have been crudely constructed to cull the readers toward them in a disingenuous way.
My instincts have proved to be right.
People are fortunate today because they have the inter-net to do some personal research on the WTS..
